Women's power from Germany
The winemakers present
Katharina and Rebecca Heger
Wine estate Dr.Heger, Ihringen at the Kaiserstuhl
The German wine estate Dr. Heger is known for wines from the Ihringer Winklerberg and Achkarrer Schlossberg sites. Both are among the warmest sites in Germany and are of volcanic origin. The winery Dr. Heger is managed in the third generation by Joachim Heger and his wife, Silvia. Their two daughters also follow the family tradition and are active in the company today. Rebecca is jointly responsible for the development of the wines, and Katharina is involved in the areas of marketing.
Theresa Breuer
Wine estate Georg Breuer, Rüdesheim on the Rhine
The Georg Breuer winery in Rüdesheim enjoys an excellent reputation. In particular, it is Theresa Breuer, the 3rd generation of the family business. The cultivation of the grapes on the steep vineyards along the Rhine gives the wine an incomparable touch, especially when growing the best German Riesling. Gentle processing and a long ageing period in barrels create a harmonious interplay of fruitiness and minerality. An absolute must for lovers of excellent German Rieslings.
Elisabeth Muth
Wine estate Rappenhof, Alsheim
The wine estate Rappenhof in Rheinhessen has been in the Hirsch/Muth family since 1604 and is now run by the 12th and 13th generations of Klaus Muth and his daughter Elisabeth. Before Elisabeth Muth joined the winery, she studied architecture and worked as an architect for several years. Through her, the focus in the winery has returned from the general to the detailed, which is certainly due to her architectural past. The vineyards extend along the Rhine-Hessian Rhine front.
